Many women nowadays seek out employers who can offer them the opportunity to spend time in an overseas office.
Kylie Rogers has enjoyed six-month stints in Copenhagen and Paris. She explains: “I have always been interested in travel, and being able to combine that with work allows me to achieve a personal goal.” She reveals that Capgemini was “totaly flexible” about how she made it work, providing a mix of hotel and apartment accomodation and helping with travel costs.
Amanda Shrimpton says that employees working abroad ”gain new skills and languages as well as getting an enhanced knowledge of international business.”
